What is Ombre Powder Brows?

Ombre Powder Brows is a makeup procedure that produces soft, misty, powder filled brows similar to the look of makeup. The tail of the Ombre brows are dark and fades into a light start in the front. 

How long does it last? 

Ombre Powder Brows last 1 - 3 years depending on skin type, after-care, sun exposure and lifestyle. 

Does it Hurt? 


The pain is minimal to mild. We use a topical anesthetic therefore pain is minimized, however every client is different.

Is this the best method for me?

  • This procedure is suitable for everyone, regardless of the skin type and brow hair

  • Heals the nicest compared to other methods (microblading, etc)

  • Does not cause scarring

Do I need a touch-up? 

Yes! Every new set of brows requires two sessions to achieve the desired results. After the first session, patchiness can be expected during the healing process.
 

How long should I wait to get my touch-up?

At least 4 weeks. 

Who is not eligible for the procedure? 

Those who are/have:

  • Pregnant

  • Nursing

  • Diabetic

  • Glaucoma

  • Skin diseases

  • Keloid

  • HIV/Hepatitis

  • Skin Cancer

  • Any Skin medications

What can i do to prepare for this appointment?

 

  • Avoid caffeine

  • Avoid alcohol

  • Avoid painkillers

    Please note: The above listed may heighten and thin out the blood.

Do I need to groom my eyebrows before my appointment? 

Not necessary! Any hair outside of the line is removed after the shape has been confirmed by your Artist.

Should I come with or without makeup?

Come in without makeup because the brow area will be wiped and cleaned prior to the procedure.

After-Care Instructions

  • Absolutely no water contact on the brows for the first 7 days

  • Begin applying the A&D ointment on the 3rd day(twice a day)

    • Apply until fully peeled

  • Avoid sun exposure, swimming pools, saunas, and steam rooms

  • No picking or pulling any skin that may be scabbing

  • Itchiness is expected but do not itch or scratch on the brows to prevent colour loss

What to Expect?

  • Brows will darken in the next few days after your appointment

  • Brows may scab and crack

  • Brows will appear to be light and patchy

  • The colour will begin to settle and return

  • Healed results will be slightly lighter than the colour immediately after the procedure

  • Brows will hardly be perfect after only one session

  • The line is removed after the shape has been confirmed

    Please note: Don’t panic! Trust the process, any changes can be made during the first touch-up

Healing Time

  • 7 - 10 days (For brows to darken, crack, and then completely scab off)

  • 4 weeks (For the brows to fully heal and be ready for a touch-up appointment)

  • Eyebrows will fade 30-40% once healed
